Rivers did great on the beach. In fact, he loved it so much he chose it as the venue for a major milestone - his first steps! Shay and I were playing with him at the edge of the water one day when he let go of my hands and walked about four steps to Shay! It was amazing to see and of course I teared up! It is just so amazing to think that in such a short time he has become this wonderful little person. It was such a special moment and I am so glad that both Shay and I were there to see it.
